Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient examinations and treatment, manage intake, document vital signs, and prepare charts in the EMR. You will assist with basic procedures and help ensure accurate medical recordkeeping.

Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma, 2–5 years MA experience, and proficiency with EMR, Outlook, and Excel. BLS certification is required; certification as a MA preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree/MA program preferred.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or previous MA experience required.
• 2–5 years MA or relevant experience preferred; practice in different care settings advantageous.
• Certified/Registered MA preferred; BLS certification required; proficient computer and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient flow during clinic hours.
• Documents review of systems; records vital signs and updates medical history.
• Records information in the EMR and prepares patient charts for visits.
• Assists in training of new employees and supports ordering medical supplies.
• May travel to other physician offices as requested.
