Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist physicians with patient examinations and treatment. You will document vital signs, review histories, and manage charts in the EMR, ensuring up-to-date patient records and accurate information flow.

Responsibilities include preparing treatments, coordinating scheduling, handling pre-authorizations, and maintaining clean exam rooms. Experience in phlebotomy and EKGs is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree and/or Certified/Registered MA preferred.
• 2–5 years MA or relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient with EMR, scheduling systems, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment under physician supervision.
• Document review of systems; record vital signs and medical history in EMR.
• Prepare patient charts for visits, including scanning and reviewing tests and reports.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medication handling; assist with phlebotomy and A/V tasks.
