Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Medical Assistant under the direction of the Nurse Manager to support patient care and follow-up. You will communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, and demonstrate sensitivity to diverse cultural and religious beliefs.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, taking vitals, collecting specimens, performing CLIA waived tests, assisting providers, maintaining rooms and supplies, and documenting in EMR/EPIC. You may float to other clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification.
• 1 year of clinical work experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients in a timely and compassionate manner.
• Take vital signs and document in EMR/EPIC.
• Interview patients and record information accurately.
• Collect specimens and perform CLIA-waived tests.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Maintain stocked exam rooms and equipment.
