Job summary

The Home Depot in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Maintenance Service Professional to perform minor equipment repairs and preventive maintenance at big-box retailer sites. You will drive a company vehicle within a defined radius from home and may travel overnight as needed.

Responsibilities include documenting work, keeping parts organized, and communicating with store partners. Required EPA 608 certification, a valid driver's license, and strong mechanical, customer-service, and safety skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• EPA 608 certification and refrigerant removal responsibility.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Medium proficiency with tablets/smartphone/laptop.

Responsibilities

• Administrative & communication: document all work, manage parts, file expense reports.
• Compliance and safety: follow safety rules and regulations, inspections, and vehicle standards.
• Preventive maintenance & light repairs: perform PM, light electrical and carpentry; travel between stores; use safety practices.
