Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Maintenance Service Professional to perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment in big-box retailers and facilities within a reasonable radius of Portland, OR. You will drive a company vehicle and coordinate with store partners to keep critical equipment running reliably.

Responsibilities include on-site PMs, light repairs, basic electrical and carpentry, and documenting work via the company platform.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Associate must be willing to get EPA 608 certification and refrigerant removal for recycling.
Basic Mechanical aptitude/ability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Medium proficiency required in the use of electronic technology - Tablets / Smart Phone / Laptop.
Must have Valid driver’s license for the state in which you live and work. Good driving record - ability to pass the MVR review.

Responsibilities

30% - Administrative & Communication: document work, track parts, file expense reports, stock replenishment, and communicate with partners.
10% - Compliance and Safety: follow safety rules, conduct pre/post vehicle inspections.
60% - Preventive Maintenance & Light Repairs: perform PM, basic electrical and carpentry, travel between stores, occasional overnight stay.
