Job summary

Whistle seeks a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex site equipment across multiple locations. You will fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, conduct preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and efficiency of HVAC and building systems.

Applicants should be physically capable, comfortable using hand and power tools, and able to work evenings or on-call as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, with certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant certifications or degrees beneficial.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
• Physically capable and able to perform hands-on maintenance across sites.
• Comfort with hand/power tools and documenting work.

Responsibilities

• Repairs & Troubleshooting: diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems; replace defective parts.
• Preventive Maintenance: perform routine checks, service equipment, and scheduled upkeep.
• System Management: monitor HVAC, electrical, and other building systems.
• Inspections: regularly inspect equipment and facilities for safety and code compliance.
• Documentation: keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Emergency Response: promptly respond to urgent maintenance requests.
• Inventory: manage spare parts and tools.
