Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living in Bellevue, NE seeks a Maintenance Technician to support the corporate office and Freedom Village, with occasional coverage at other Hillcrest communities.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and preventive maintenance, ensuring safe, clean facilities for residents and staff. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and capable of working independently across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Two years of building-maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.
• Healthcare/senior living or commercial facilities experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for building equipment.
• Maintain office equipment, tools, and building systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance and document work orders.
• Assist with moving furniture and setup as needed.
• Keep maintenance logs and safety checklists up to date.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as assigned.
