Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for Hillcrest Mable Rose in Bellevue, NE. You will install, repair, and maintain equipment, systems, and common areas to keep the community safe, clean, and fully functional for residents and staff.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, with after-hours and weekend duties as needed. A high school diploma and HVAC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, mechanical systems, and general repair work preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Helpful, respectful, and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance tasks including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair work.
• Maintain the building to support safety, surveys, and OSHA expectations.
• Troubleshoot fixed and movable building equipment and systems.
• Clean and maintain the facility, grounds, and common areas as assigned.
• refurbish vacant apartments before move-ins and ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Support general housekeeping and supply inventory as needed.
• Order parts and supplies using approved vendors.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and weekend duties as needed.
