Job summary

The St. Joe Company is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee site conditions for commercial properties in Panama City Beach, FL. This full-time role involves performing routine maintenance, addressing basic plumbing and electrical issues, and coordinating with vendors to support property operations.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and 3-5 years of related experience. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction, building maintenance or related field preferred.
• Ability to organize daily tasks and manage multiple maintenance requests.
• Knowledge of basic construction and power tool operation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
• Basic computer, smartphone, or tablet skills for work orders and maintenance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs at assigned properties.
• Troubleshoot and address basic plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC, and appliance issues within the employee's training and legal authorization.
• Repair doors, locks, fixtures, drywall, flooring, and other building components as needed.
• Maintain grounds, walkways, parking areas, and exterior spaces.
• Identify maintenance concerns and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Acts as on-site contact for various construction, maintenance and mitigation projects, as well as tenant site inspections and other support functions.
