Job summary

Avanath Capital, a leader in affordable housing, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead multifamily property maintenance teams and ensure superior resident service. You will oversee staff and vendors, maintain safety standards, and drive preventive maintenance to uphold property quality.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, skilled trades knowledge, and a commitment to dependable, on-site presence to support residents and property operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• On-call and weekend work availability.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates customer service by treating residents with respect and addressing maintenance requests promptly.
• Schedule and manage work orders; ensure repairs in common areas and units are necessary.
• Maintain safety, inventory, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Supervise maintenance staff; provide training and direction.
• Maintain records of service requests, safety standards, and inspections.
• Participate in on-call emergencies and coordinate with vendors.
