Job summary

Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans is seeking a Language Access Programs Specialist to coordinate and enhance language access services across multiple sites. You will work with ESL leadership and staff to recruit students, manage data, and expand instructional programs to diverse communities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, and experience with CASAS eTests and WorkReadyU.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in social work, education, or related field.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Classroom instruction/management experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred; other languages valued.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse populations across sites.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and able to take initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with CASAS eTests and WorkReadyU databases preferred; willingness to learn required systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate Language Access Programs across multiple sites.
• Support student recruitment, enrollment, and ongoing services.
• Manage program data, tracking, reporting, and documentation.
• Develop instructional programming using evidence-based adult learning methods.
• Support in-person and online instructional practices.
• Identify opportunities to expand and strengthen educational programs.
• Collaborate with ESL leadership and site teams to coordinate services.
• Work with Success Coach and other staff to promote integrated client services.
• Develop partnerships with universities and community organizations.
• Implement strategies for multi-generational learning and expansion.
• Maintain knowledge of adult learning theories and methodologies.
• Provide timely program data for grants and evaluations.
• Exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality.
