Job summary

Bluegrass Supply Chain Services, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support a multi-site distribution network in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. You will manage day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and training across sites.

This hands-on role requires building relationships with site leaders and hourly team members, traveling up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-5 years of HR experience; multi-site or warehouse/distribution environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience navigating frontline employee relations issues independently.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred) and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment for assigned sites including postings, screening, interviews, and offers.
• Lead new employee onboarding to ensure a consistent onboarding across sites.
• Serve as primary HR contact for assigned sites; resolve day-to-day employee relations issues.
• Support compliance with federal/state/local labor laws and company policies.
• Manage HR data and generate reports for site leadership decisions.
• Coordinate HR programs including recognition, wellness, and training initiatives.
