Job summary

Midland Scientific Inc. seeks a hands-on Facilities Coordinator to maintain three distribution centers, coordinate with vendors, and support daily warehouse operations.

This non-exempt, hourly role requires a standard 40-hour week with occasional overtime, travel between locations, and after-hours work as needed. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, site inspections, vendor coordination, and assisting with small construction projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facilities maintenance or building operations experience.
• Strong hands-on skills in general maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, painting, basic electrical).
• Experience working with vendors and/or warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance across all distribution centers.
• Conduct site inspections, identify issues, and coordinate repairs.
• Oversee repairs including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
• Coordinate subcontractors for maintenance, repairs, and small construction projects.
• Monitor vendor performance and report service issues.
• Assist with scheduling and tracking facility improvement projects.
• Support warehouse team to meet business demands; pick/pack/fulfill orders as needed.
• Operate a delivery van for local customer deliveries if required.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized facilities and warehouse environments.
• Travel between three distribution centers to perform maintenance and support operations.
