Job summary

Covenant HealthCare is seeking a Clerical Clinical Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and administrative support across multiple locations. The role requires flexibility to cover various duties within a shift and to adapt to clinical and clerical tasks.

Primary responsibilities include vital signs, patient intake, referral coordination and maintaining patient records, with an emphasis on confidentiality and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a competency-based Medical Assistant training program required.
• One year clinical or administrative experience required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, update medical records, and document visit reason.
• Assist providers during examinations as needed.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle administrative duties.
• Collect co-pays and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Maintain and organize patient medical records and documentation.
