J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Coordinator II to manage daily warehouse operations, oversee receipt and inventory, and coordinate with drivers and contractors to ensure safe, accurate delivery of goods.

The role requires flexibility across day, night, and weekend shifts and may involve travel for training and meetings. Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, resolving service issues, and assisting with payroll, budgeting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years of experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, or equivalent military experience.
• Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences: Customer service, high accuracy in information processing, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple shifts including nights and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure timely, accurate processing of goods for customers and vendors.
• Build and maintain positive professional relationships to minimize turnover and maximize productivity.
• Assist with on-time service and adjust freight schedules based on pick-up and delivery windows.
