Job summary

Uptalent in Lawrence, Kansas, is seeking workers for electrical submersible pump cable and rubber molded product manufacturing. The role requires 1-3 years in mechanical/manufacturing settings with forklift experience preferred, and a willingness to train on 1st shift.

Responsibilities include setting up work centers, monitoring equipment, documenting activities, and ensuring safety practices. Candidates must be able to work all shifts and lift up to 50 lbs; background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years mechanical and/or manufacturing experience.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Wear PPE and observe safety practices; complete required safety training.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate specific work center and equipment under normal supervision.
• Monitor equipment and perform adjustments as needed.
• Communicate effectively across the organization.
• Maintain attention to documentation and process tasks.
• Understand and apply safe work practices; lift 10–50 lbs as needed.
• Use measuring instruments and verify specifications.
• Make decisions on product quality based on specs and visuals.
• Work all 3 shifts; rotate shifts and accept overtime.
