Job summary

Comcast Advertising is seeking a local media salesperson responsible for developing and servicing a base of local clients and agencies to hit annual sales goals in Oregon. You will offer zone buying to reach customers in retail trading areas and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill client needs.

The role requires proactive prospecting, presentation of market proposals, generation of local ad revenue, and accurate reporting. Some nights/weekends may be required as part of a variable schedule.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant sales experience in advertising.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets and present advertising proposals to clients.
• Develop marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue.
• Coordinate with internal teams to schedule ads and manage accounts.
• Maintain customer records and contribute to sales forecasts.
• Prepare documentation for contracts and schedules.
• Prospect for new customers following sales strategies.
• Produce reports and communications; exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain attendance and flexible schedule including nights/weekends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
