Job summary

Zurich North America in New York City is seeking an experienced underwriter to join the Multinational team. The role will underwrite and analyze new and renewal Multinational Property and Casualty accounts, with a market-facing posture about 25% of the time and a hybrid schedule in the NYC office.

The position will be filled at either the Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter level, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting or market facing roles.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and rating rules.
• Ability to develop broker relationships and work within time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze new and renewal Multinational Property and Casualty accounts.
• Market-facing and production within the Middle Market Multinational division.
• Maintain underwriting rules and guidelines and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain agency/broker relationships in the East Region.
• Work within broad authority on complex cases.
