Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Multimodality Technologist in Rowlett, TX. This PRN/variable shift role involves performing imaging across CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR with patient-focused care.

The technician will work under a Radiologist, ensuring high-quality imaging, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining records. Shift patterns vary, with day, mid, and night options and weekend coverage dependent on schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Program is required.
• Experience with radiology modalities and patient care is preferred.
• Proficiency in maintaining safety standards and following protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality multimodality imaging according to exam protocols.
• Monitor radiation dose and take action if reference levels are exceeded.
• Utilize iSTAT for point-of-care testing as needed.
• Communicate with patients using AIDET and verify the correct exam and patient.
• Prepare and position patients; ensure proper equipment setup and exposure factors.
• Maintain equipment and department cleanliness; report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records per policy.
