Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting for a Multimodality Technologist at the Pflugerville Medical Center. The role involves performing imaging across two or more modalities, with at least 25% focus on advanced areas such as CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or IR, for ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or licensed provider.

The position requires graduation from an accredited program and less than 1 year of experience.

• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 year of Experience

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol promptly.
• Maintains production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards.
• Demonstrates an expertise of radiation dose reference levels and monitoring.
• Takes action if the estimated dose exceeds set levels.
• Uses iSTAT point of care testing for obtaining creatinine levels.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET and ensures the correct exam is performed on the correct patient.
• Position the patient, use immobilization devices, and move equipment into position.
• Protects patients and employees by following safety, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
• Obtains, verifies, and maintains all relevant documentation.
• Maintains medical imaging records in appropriate systems.
