Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health’s Taylor Medical Center is seeking a PRN Multimodality Technologist. You will perform imaging in two or more modalities, including CT/MR or nuclear medicine, for ambulatory and inpatient patients, under radiologist supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program (Radiologic Technology).
• Less than 1 year of experience in radiology or related field.
• Licensure/certification requirements listed below.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality multimodality procedures per protocol.
• Maintains imaging quality and dose safety according to standards.
• Operates iSTAT point-of-care testing for creatinine levels.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and ensures correct exam selection.
• Prepares patient and area, positions patient, and uses proper exposure factors.
• Adheres to safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; assists in inventory and reports issues.
• Maintains and documents patient history, history of procedures and pregnancy status.
• Maintains medical imaging records per policy.
