Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a PRN role in Houston. You will provide imaging services including routine X-rays, portable X-rays and fluoroscopy, while supporting patient care with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include obtaining high-quality diagnostic images, proper labeling and documentation, timely QA resolution, and safe transport of patients as needed. Active ARRT (R) and Texas CMRT/TMB certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or registered School of Radiology is required.
• Current registration with ARRT (R) is required.
• Current certification with the Texas Department of Health (CMRT)/TMB license is required.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Scan in labels and document appropriately.
• Resolve QA issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure images are released to radiologists in a timely manner.
• Ensure orders are valid and entered appropriately.
• Transport patients as needed.

Education
