Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista is seeking a radiologic technologist to operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. Responsibilities include meeting departmental goals and supporting a multi-modality imaging team.

The role requires certification and licensure in radiologic technologies, with potential for advanced modality work and mobile imaging as needed. This is a represented position with SEIU and requires adherence to AH vaccination policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology is required.
• BLS certification from AH policy is required.
• RT license (state) is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Must have current certification in one modality and be able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality (CT, Mammo, MRI, NM, Sonography, PET).
• ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic, mammographic, CT and/or ultrasound examinations.
• Perform three modalities competently.
• Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Test defibrillator and check crash cart integrity.
• Perform mobile imaging examinations as necessary.
• Safely prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures.
