Job summary

Adventist Health seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. Assists in achieving departmental goals and creates an environment for the imaging team to meet objectives. Performs at least three modalities regularly.

The role requires ARRT certification, RT license, CPR/BLS, and multi-modality credentials. An Associate's degree is required; Bachelor's or Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
• Three years' technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic, mammographic, CT and/or ultrasound examinations.
• Performs three modalities competently.
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Tests defibrillator and checks crash cart integrity.
• Performs mobile imaging examinations as needed.
• Safely prepares contrast agents for procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
