Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Arlington, VA is seeking a Transportation Engineer to support multimodal planning, safety and operational studies, and data-driven recommendations. You will coordinate with agencies, developers, and stakeholders, review plans, and prepare technical materials.

The role requires a degree in engineering with relevant experience and strong skills in traffic analysis tools, GIS, and presentation/public speaking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 2 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 1 year.
• Experience in traffic engineering and site plan reviews.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within schedule and hours.
• Prepares and/or modifies portions of project reports, plans, and calculations.
• Develops project quantities and assists cost estimates.
• Organizes design files and supports engineering teams.
• Conducts field investigations and data collection as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
