TYLin, a global infrastructure firm, seeks a Transportation Engineer to join our Detroit team. You will contribute to multimodal planning, analysis, and design, shaping safer urban roadways while meeting technical standards. The role involves site visits, traffic and safety analyses, CAD drawings, and collaborative reviews with project teams.

A B.S. in civil or transportation engineering and proficiency in Excel, CAD (MicroStation), and traffic software are required; PE licensure is preferred or

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or transportation engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred or ability to obtain within one year.
• Knowledge of MUTCD standards; familiarity with NACTO guidelines and local agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct site visits, field observations, and data collection.
• Perform traffic, pedestrian, parking, and safety analyses.
• Develop CAD-based design drawings of roadway and intersection geometry, signage, markings, and signal controls.
• Review transportation plans and drawings for operational effectiveness for all roadway users.
• Prepare high-quality graphics, data visuals, and reports.
• Attend internal and external project meetings.
