Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive transportation, roadway, transit, or civil infrastructure design experience.
• EIT/EI certification preferred; PE license encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support development of civil and transportation design plans for transit, roadway, and multimodal projects.
• Prepare design drawings, sketches, calculations, reports, specs, and cost estimates.
• Assist with alignments, typical sections, ADA improvements, corridor layouts, and related design elements.
• Coordinate with roadway, transit, drainage, traffic, structural, environmental, and construction teams to deliver high-quality plans.
• Apply standards (VDOT, AASHTO, ADA) to deliver constructible solutions.
• Use OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and related tools for plan production.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client coordination.
