Job summary

Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is hiring a Multimedia Supervisor for the West Charleston Library. The role involves leading multimedia services, coordinating programs, and contributing to innovative learning environments.

This full-time, 40-hour-a-week exempt position reports to management-level Library Operations and often serves as PIC. Salary ranges from $72,911 to $97,707 per year, with merit increases per policy.

Qualifications

• , Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Two (2) years’ experience in a STEAM-related field, including customer service and multimedia or Makerspace technologies.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff, including performance coaching, career development, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with Library District policies and explain them to customers and staff.
• Exercise decision-making skills.
• Conduct meetings, programs, and trainings at various sites across the District.
• Maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Collect and compile data from diverse sources.
• Attend professional association meetings and seminars.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair on library equipment.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
