Job summary

Navajo County is seeking a Multimedia Content Creator to produce engaging visual content for residents across digital platforms, social media, websites and presentations. The role includes videography, photography, podcast production and storytelling to support county communications.

The candidate will work outside normal hours for events and emergencies, with responsibilities spanning press materials, content calendars and cross-department collaboration to maintain a consistent county brand.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications with five years’ experience.
• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn).
• Experience writing, editing and crafting content for press releases, presentations and speeches.

Responsibilities

• Assist with media inquiries and help develop interview talking points for coverage.
• Write, edit and produce press materials, videos and content for publication.
• Publish and share daily content across digital channels to engage residents.
• Attend meetings and public events, providing multimedia coverage and reporting.
• Coordinate multimedia content with departments and update the content calendar.
