Job summary

The Communications Specialist II at Center in Phoenix, AZ leads the creation of written, graphic, and multimedia content for digital and print channels. You will design materials, produce videos, and manage campaigns impacting civic engagement and public affairs at tribal, state, and federal levels.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, collaboration, and ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field and two years of relevant experience.
• Ability to independently manage communications projects from concept through completion.
• Strong graphic design and visual communication skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Develop written, graphic, photographic, and multimedia content for Center’s website, newsletters, social media, and campaigns.
• Design and produce professional print and digital materials using Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
• Produce and edit short- and long-form video using Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar software.
• Develop and execute communications campaigns from planning through completion across multiple channels.
• Coordinate content across email, website, social media, and other platforms.
