Job summary

Silver State Schools Credit Union is seeking a Media and Content Specialist to produce high-quality multimedia content, including photography, videography, editing, and podcast production, while managing the credit union's social media presence.

The role supports the Marketing Department to capture the organization’s story, highlight community impact, and develop engaging content that informs, inspires, and connects with members and prospective members. On-site, standard hours apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Communications, Media Production, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with photography, videography, photo and video editing, and audio production required.
• Understanding of social media platform management, keyword research, and basic SEO concepts.

Responsibilities

• Capture and edit professional photography for campaigns and events.
• Record, edit, and produce video content, including short-form and long-form.
• Produce and edit podcast episodes, including audio production and publishing.
• Assist in coordinating shoots and lighting for events and interviews.
• Ensure all content reflects the Credit Union's brand and compliance requirements.
• Manage social media activity, engagement, and real-time event coverage.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Compliance to ensure accurate messaging.
