Job description

The Multimedia Producer is responsible for the technical elements of the studio by providing detailed oversight and management of the creative, technical, and other functions related to the space and programming therein. The Multimedia Producer will supervise student interns/volunteers who are part of studio operations and will ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participates in the planning, production, filming and delivery of creative video/photo content, including by not limited to, talent visits, donor stewardship projects, pre-recorded studio programming or other specialty projects in conjunction with both the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and Northwell Health requests.
  • Coordinates the technical production and delivery for both televised and radio broadcast content in the Seacrest Studio.
  • Networks regularly with Seacrest Studio partners across the nation and participates in any education organized by the Seacrest Foundation.
  • Coordinates efforts with internal partners/departments such as Information Services and Special Events Coordinator.
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert in the absence of Studio Manager related to daily functions of the studio or the technical aspect of the equipment.
  • Provides post-production services including editing for production fulfillment.
  • Maintains accurate digital archiving system for multimedia content, helping ensure brand standards, design templates and systems architecture.
  • Assists the Studio Manager with process improvement opportunities related to studio operations.
  • Assists Studio manager with training and oversight of students. Coordinates volunteer/intern training and assignments for the studio and actively engages with them for integration, retention and successful experiences.
  • Operates under general guidance on work assignments, which may be carried, requiring interpretation and independent decision on course of action.
  • Actively involved with donor engagement and/or celebrity visits that occur; will serve as primary host in absence of Studio manager.
  • Adheres to licensing and other requirements between Northwell Health and Seacrest Studios.
  • Completes any required documentation related to studio activity as requested by the manager.
  • Prepares and maintains reports, as necessary.

Other Related Functions

  • Supports other departmental activities as necessary.
  • Maintains adherence to corporate compliance and other mandated programs to ensure staff compliance.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
  • Strong portfolio with both videography and photography work.
  • Experience working in the broadcasting and/or entertainment field(s).
  • Experience working with broadcast equipment.
