Job summary

Lutheran Community Services NW is seeking a School-Based Care Coordinator (Multilingual) to support Refugees Northwest Foster Care in Seattle. The role focuses on intake, records management, and coordinating services for diverse youth and families.

Candidates should be fluent in English and Spanish, with strong organization and communication skills, and a commitment to HIPAA compliance and community well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with completing new client intake packets and updating electronic case records.
• Maintain records for dependency court and track hearing dates.
• Collect and file health records and update medical/dental information.
• Invite and document program events; manage RSVPs and communications.
• Support foster parent licensing files and send reminder emails.
• Track program inquiries and provide logistical support for trainings.
• Assist in outreach events and transporting youth to appointments when needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all duties.
