Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC in Jamaica, NY is seeking a Part-Time Passenger Service Agent to provide first-class customer service to travelers. You will assist with check-in, ticketing, gate handling and related duties in a dynamic airport environment.

The role supports arrivals and departures, including passengers with special needs such as VIPs or wheelchair assistance, and requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. Base pay is $21.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Japanese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Indonesian or Chinese is a requirement.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to all clientele.
• Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop regularly for extended periods.
• Able to lift/carry/push/pull items of up to 70 pounds regularly and lift 40–50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Able to work in extreme conditions (hot/cold) and in small spaces.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with a smile through arrival and check-in process, including support for unaccompanied minors, VIP passengers, and wheelchair assistance.
• Handle all aspects of arrival/departure functions, ticketing, gate handling, and check-in using a computerized system (boarding, baggage, reservations, lost and found).
• Provide information for travelers and assist with special requests and considerations.
• Handle passport/VISA documentation.
• Interact with passengers, employees, customers, corporate representatives and the public.
