Job summary

Propio Language Services, a leader in bridging language gaps, seeks onsite contract interpreters for the Wenatchee, WA area. You will provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and multiple languages at client sites, and may perform remote interpretation when needed.

Applicants should have 1+ year interpreting experience, strong English and multilingual proficiency, and the ability to travel to assignments.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience.
• Proficiency in English and All Spoken Languages.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Ability to travel to onsite assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality, privacy, and security per HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and client rules.
• Uphold Propio's ethics and professional standards during assignments.
• Interact professionally with clients, patients, and other participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and industry terminology for assignments.
