Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking on-site contract interpreters in the Wenatchee, WA area to provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language. Remote interpretation may be required by telephone or video for some assignments.

Applicants should be 18+, fluent in English and all spoken languages, with at least one year of interpreting experience and the ability to travel to assignments. Privacy, confidentiality, and client-specific requirements must be followed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Professional proficiency in English and All Spoken Language.
• One or more years of professional interpreting experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to travel to accepted onsite assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with confidentiality, privacy, security, and ethics requirements for each assignment.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge to perform assignments accurately.
