Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking on-site contract interpreters in Wenatchee, WA. You will provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language and may also handle remote interpretation when needed.

Applicants must be at least 18, fluent in English and the target language, and able to meet client credentialing standards. A current résumé in English and basic tech skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficiency in English and All Spoken Language.
• Ability to provide consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language.
• Successful completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience.
• Basic computer and technology proficiency.
• Ability to travel to onsite assignments.
• Health and immunization requirements may apply per client/site.
• Background checks may be required for certain assignments.
• One or more years of professional interpreting experience.
• Relevant interpreter training, credentials, or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy and data-protection requirements.
