Job summary

Timken Aurora Bearing is seeking a Multifunction Machining Specialist to operate and adjust a range of production equipment, including lathe, milling and grinding processes. You will load parts, cycle equipment, and check dimensions, with on-the-job training and clear growth potential.

You will perform in-process checks, adjust tooling or parameters to meet tolerances, and document setup approvals. Training focuses on accuracy and reliability across stations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing and machine operation experience preferred.
  • Experience with gauges and micrometers preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust a range of production equipment.
  • Run bore grinders, drills, mills, and roll thread to spec.
  • Set up machines to specified parameters and produce first-piece parts.
  • Complete documentation for setup approval.
  • Perform in-process inspections and verify tolerance.

Multiple opportunities are open on day and afternoon shifts, and you’ll receive on-the-job training with real growth potential.Imagine Your First WeekYou’ll shadow a seasoned operator, learn how each station runs, and practice loading parts, cycling equipment, and checking dimensions.
