Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Multifamily Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and oversee multifamily construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing on-site construction activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the construction process for multifamily projects, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
• Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that construction is proceeding in line with the project plan and safety regulations.
• Identify potential risks and develop effective risk management strategies to mitigate them.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Resolve any on-site issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing them with updates on project progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Implement strategic planning initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of construction operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role, with a focus on multifamily construction.
• Proven experience in risk management, team leadership, communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team of professionals.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to enhance construction operations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
