Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Multifamily Superintendent for a top-rated general contractor. The role oversees multifamily projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion on site in Des Moines, IA.

You will manage subcontractors, crews, and schedules, enforce OSHA standards, and coordinate with PMs, engineers, and ownership. The position demands 5+ years in multifamily supervision and hands-on leadership on large-scale developments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on multifamily construction projects.
• Proven experience managing ground-up multifamily projects such as podium, wrap, or large apartment developments.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and timelines.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with construction management software is preferred.
