Job summary

Birchstone Residential seeks a Service Technician to perform daily maintenance and preventative tasks at the assigned Birchstone community. You will complete repairs, assist with capital improvement projects, and ensure safety and code compliance across units and common areas.

The role requires basic HVAC knowledge, 6 months of maintenance experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. On-call availability and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 6 months of maintenance work experience or training.
• Experience in multi-family property maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of drywall, electrical, carpentry, flooring, plumbing, painting, HVAC, appliances and lock changes.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with Service Manager to review requests and plan work.
• Execute preventive and regular maintenance per standards.
• Complete repairs and improvements ensuring code compliance.
• Inspect community daily and maintain grounds and common areas.
• Assist with capital improvement projects and special assignments.
• On-call shifts for emergencies and timely documentation of work.
