Job summary

Birchstone Residential in Irving, TX, is seeking a Service Technician to handle day-to-day maintenance at the assigned Birchstone community. You will perform regular and preventative maintenance, complete service requests, and assist with capital improvement projects to keep units ready for move-ins.

The role requires hands-on experience across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance work, plus strong safety and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in multi-family property maintenance is a plus.
• HVAC type 1 and type 2 certifications required; CAMT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the Service Manager daily to review service requests and plan work.
• Perform regular and preventative maintenance and make-readies.
• Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and fixtures.
• Inspect and ensure code compliance and safety.
• Maintain grounds, supervise security systems, and assist with capital projects.
• Document work orders and preventive maintenance; ensure inspections readiness.
• Work on-call for emergencies.
