Job summary

Apartment Management Professionals (AMP) is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to prepare apartments for new residents. You will perform general maintenance, troubleshoot, and complete service requests, ensuring units and property facilities are in optimal condition.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall and appliance repairs, installing/removing fixtures, touch-up painting, and turning over units on schedule while delivering excellent tenant service.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, drywall/paint, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Experience with turnovers and make-readies of vacant units preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong multitasking and deadline-oriented skills.
• On-call availability, including after-hours and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete all maintenance service requests promptly.
• Ensure units are turned over efficiently within timelines.
• Follow make-ready and punch checklists to complete tasks.
• Address issues requiring electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall and appliance repairs.
• Install/remove appliances, ceiling fans, fixtures, and blinds.
• Perform touch-up painting for interior and exterior surfaces.
• Respond to tenant requests with excellent service.
• Comply with Federal, State and local regulations, including Fair Housing.
