Job summary

Apartment Management Professionals (AMP) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of apartment units and property facilities, including preparing units for move-in, troubleshooting, and performing repairs. The role focuses on safety, compliance, and delivering excellent tenant service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in general maintenance duties
• HVAC, EPA, and CPO certifications preferred
• Strong ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of apartments for move-in, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs
• Organize and perform general maintenance, preventative upkeep and repairs per safety standards
• Inspect vacated apartments, document renovations and re-inspect before move-in
• Restore units to make-ready condition
• Repair HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and other systems
• Inspect community grounds and buildings for safety and maintenance improvements
• Respond promptly to tenant requests with strong customer service
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing
