Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to uphold the physical integrity of multifamily communities. The role ensures a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents, visitors, and staff, under supervision of the Lead Maintenance Technician.

The position focuses on training and mentoring maintenance staff, timely make-readies, and proactive issue resolution to maintain property value and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements of the position.
• 40-hour work week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; schedule may vary.
• Scheduled on-call work may be necessary.
• Must wear a back-support belt and gloves for safety.
• Wear appropriate footwear; non-flat-bottom shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete checklists for make-ready needs.
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units; remove heavy items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds and deliver notices to residents.
• Perform general maintenance tasks to prepare apartments for new residents.
• Assist with appliance repairs and transfers to/from units.
• Provide safe, clean, and welcoming living spaces for new residents.
