Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Chesapeake, VA to perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance across a multifamily property, ensuring safety and resident satisfaction. This hands-on role supports daily work orders, upkeep of buildings and amenities, and collaboration with the Property Management team.

Responsibilities include responding to issues promptly, executing light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience in multifamily or residential environments.
• 2+ years of combined experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and repairs, including light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC-related work.
• Respond to work orders promptly and proactively identify maintenance issues to prevent escalation.
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and resident amenities such as pools and clubhouses.
• Interact professionally and courteously with residents in their homes and throughout the community.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working and living environment.
• Assist with general property upkeep and support team members as needed.
