Job summary

Milhaus SRG seeks a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing and grounds at properties in Orlando. You will help ensure cash flow, resident satisfaction and retention while coordinating with Milhaus employees and vendors.

The role requires at least one year of maintenance experience, valid license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. HVAC certification is preferred and on-call availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year demonstrated experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing and groundskeeping.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• HVAC Certification (preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire) *subject to needs of property deemed by property manager.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable private transportation
• English language proficiency both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements and applicable program regulations
• Ability to operate a two-axle motor vehicle
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform all duties related to fine detail of mechanical devices
• Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of OSHA standards and other environmental safety standards
• Ability to perform a variety of duties in all types of weather
• Ability to maintain 24-hour on-call status

Responsibilities

• Receives service work orders and completes work within 24 hours.
• Polices grounds daily and as needed.
• Refurbishes vacant units within five working days or less.
• Performs painting, cleaning, and grounds work as needed.
• Operates tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and inspections of units.
• Report property losses or incidents promptly.
• Report work-related injuries promptly.
• Follow all regulations and company policies.
