Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve property integrity and appearance by performing routine maintenance and addressing resident service requests.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting, with a focus on safety and compliance. Availability for on-call duties, including evenings and weekends, is expected in a multifamily environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair).
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests, use work order system to track and complete repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and conduct quality checks.
• Maintain amenity areas and common spaces through cleaning and minor repairs.
• Inspect vendor work to ensure quality and scope compliance.
• Assist in property inspections to identify maintenance needs and upkeep.
