Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the property's physical integrity, safety, and appearance. You will handle routine maintenance, respond to resident requests, and coordinate with contractors to prepare units for new residents.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair, plus on-call availability evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• One-year prior experience in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• HVAC certification or EPA refrigerant handling certification is required/preferred.
• Must be available for emergency on-call including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair).
• Respond to resident service requests and track using a work order system.
• Prepare vacant units, inspect and coordinate repairs with contractors.
• Maintain amenity areas and common spaces through cleaning and minor repairs.
• Inspect vendor work for quality and safety compliance.
• Attend safety meetings and OSHA training; report incidents.
