Job summary

MLP Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of multi-family properties. Tasks include plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repairs, with regular inspections and timely fixes to prevent deterioration.

Work closely with property management to prioritize maintenance requests and maintain high resident satisfaction. The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience (preferably in multi-family), EPA

Qualifications

• 3-5 years maintenance experience (at least 3 years in multi-family industry) required.
• EPA Certification is required, Type I & II.
• Make ready and painting experience required.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting software—Yardi experience is a plus.
• Current and valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance appearance and maintenance of the community.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems and equipment to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs.
• Complete make readies in a detailed and timely manner including painting of units.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property management, providing clear communication and timely resolution.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, materials used, and time spent on each task.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs or large-scale projects are required.
• Adhere to and comply with company safety policies and rules
